Back in March we highlighted four acts you simply can’t miss at Iceland’s Secret Solstice festival (check it out HERE) but with just under 20 days until the festival starts we couldn’t help but delve a bit deeper into the line-up. Here’s some more artists that you would be a fool to miss:
Born Radric Davis, this southern-influenced rapper became known for his singles “Gucci Time” and “Wasted,” the latter of which hit #3 on the R&B Billboard. Since releasing his debut album Trap House in 2005, Gucci has gone on to release 12 studio albums and over 70 mixtapes. His 2016 collaboration with Rae Sremmurd, titled “Black Beatles”, provided Gucci Mane with his first number-one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart
Southern rapper who became a sensation in 2016 with the release of his breakout single “PRBLMS.” Since his break-out the rapper has released hit singles such as Ex-Calling and, most recently, OTW in collaboration with Khalid and Ty Dolla $ign.
Since forming in 2015 as a college art school project, Dream Wife – a name chosen as commentary on society’s objectification of women – have become one of the UK’s most exciting new bands and “Fire” is the latest euphoric single to be taken from their recently released and critically acclaimed self-titled debut album.
Death From Above
Death from Above is a Canadian rock duo consisting of bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer and vocalist Sebastien Grainger. Their most recent album ‘Outrage! Is Now’ was their best work yet and any fans of Slayer should defiently make sure they don’t miss this duo at the festival
Electro house producer who had his first big hit with the 2009 single “I’m in the House.” By the time he released his first album, Wonderland (2012), he’d become one of the highest grossing DJs in North America. He has collaborated on tracks and records with several prominent artists including Iggy Azalea, will.i.am, LMFAO and Linkin Park.
